Fianna Fail leader Mr Bertie Ahern yesterday led tributes to the party's former Cork South West TD, Flor Crowley, father of MEP Brian Crowley who died and was buried over the weekend.
Expressing his own personal condolences and the sympathy of the party to Mr Crowley's family, Mr Ahern paid tribute to Mr Crowley's "proud legacy of commitment to public service."
Mr Crowley was buried yesterday following Requiem Mass at St Patrick's Church, Bandon. He is survived by his wife, Sally, sons Niall, Brian and Flor, and daughters Maeve, Deirdre and Fiona.
