Aer Lingus has cancelled its flights to and from New York tomorrow, due to the severe weather warning in the New York region associated with Hurricane Sandy.

The cancelled flights are the EI-105 flight from Dublin to New York; the EI-104 flight from New York to Dublin; the EI-109 flight from Dublin to New York; the EI-108 flight from New York to Dublin; the EI-111 flight from Shannon to New York and the EI-110 flight from New York to Shannon.

The airline has advised customers affected by these cancellations to visit its website aerlingus.com where they can change their flights to another date of travel, free of charge. “Customers who wish to cancel their travel plans will receive a full refund and are asked to use the refund request facility on aerlingus.com,” a spokesman said. “Aer Lingus apologises to all customers affected by these cancellations.”

The airline said it was planning to operate all other services tomorrow, but would let customers know via text message, the website and the media, should this situation change.
