Aer Lingus has appointed Henriette Thilert to the newly created position of head of revenue and pricing.
Ms Thilert joins the airline from Deutsche Lufthansa's discount carrier Germanwings where she held the same post.
The new position is designed to help boost sales on short-haul and long-haul routes.
