Aer Lingus has announced it will operate six new routes from Dublin and Cork to Europe next year, including Spain, Poland and Germany.

The airline announced it is to commence flights to Berlin, Birmingham and Tenerife from Cork in June next year, and to Poland, Majorca and France from Dublin in March.

The Cork to Berlin and Birmingham services will run three times a week, while Tenerife flights will be scheduled weekly. Aer Lingus also plans to increase the frequency of its flights from Cork to Nice, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Alicante, Malaga and Rome, giving Cork an extra 300,000 seats in and out of the airport each year.

From March 28th, the airline will operate a flight from Dublin to Poznan in Poland, adding to the Krakow and Warsaw services that are already up and running. Flights from Dublin to Palma, Majorca, will run three times a week, while Aer Lingus passengers will be able to fly to Rennes in France twice a week.
