Chester - An amateur actress who brutally battered and then stabbed to death the wife of the lover who "degraded and used" her was jailed for life yesterday. Jenny Cupit (24), a mother of two, had denied murdering Kathryn Linaker (33) on April 17th last year.
She had admitted manslaughter on grounds of diminished responsibility but dramatically changed her plea to guilty of murder on the sixth day of her trial.
