Diyarbakir - Turkish troops have killed 85 Kurdish rebels in the latest offensives against the guerrillas, security officials said yesterday. Thousands of troops entered the breakaway Kurdish enclave of Iraq at the weekend in pursuit of Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) rebels who fled Syria following a deal between Ankara and Damascus. Security forces killed 64 rebels in northern Iraq's Hakurk region, an official said.
