Earlier, the marchers met in a hall in Buckingham Street. Before the meeting, the organisers asked the crowd whether the media should be admitted. The crowd agreed that they should and camera crews from the BBC and the US television network CBS entered. The CBS programme Sixty Minutes is planning a report on the anti-drugs movement in Dublin.
