London - A studio flat measuring 10ft 9in by 10ft 9in has been sold for £72,500 in one of London's most fashionable districts.
The tiny property, just big enough to hold a single bed, also has a kitchenette in one corner and a shower cubicle off the main room. It cost £506 per square foot, roughly the going rate in Egerton Gardens in Kensington, west London. The lease has just under 18 years to run. It was bought by a European family who intend to use it for staff accommodation. Mr Rupert des Forges, of estate agents, Cluttons Daniel Smith, said: "It is absolutely tiny, the smallest I have seen."
