A £40 million private hospital, similar to the Blackrock Clinic in Dublin, is to be established on the outskirts of Galway city.
The directors of the Blackrock Clinic are to submit a planning application within the next two weeks to Galway Corporation for the construction of the 60-bed hospital at Doughiska, on the Dublin Road.
