Would you like to play a piano with a provenance and story to tell? You can sit down at the keyboards of the 28 practice pianos which will be used for the eighth Axa Dublin International Piano Competition (May 1st-15th) at the Pianos Plus Showrooms in the Centrepoint Business Park, Oak Road, Dublin 12 on May 22nd and 23rd, 10am-6pm (call 01-4097373 for appointments) and on Sunday May 24th, 2-6pm (no appointment required).

These brand new pianos are housed in embassies, private houses and state properties for the duration of the competition and are being played on by the next generation of Alfred Brendels and John O’Conors.
