Is this a first - a pizza with a hole in it? The Leggera pizzas, introduced to branches of Milano yesterday, have a salad of baby spinach, rocket and tomatoes in their centre.
Ideal for lunch, or lighter meals, the Leggera comes in three varieties - Margherita (tomato and basil); Gustosa (ham, mushrooms, peppers and thyme), and Vitabella (asparagus, mixed veg and peppers) - and weighs in at around 500 calories.
