Here’s a terrific service for anyone who finds choosing the right tree – and then getting it into the house – something of a torment. Trees on Wheels will bring a selection of trees to your home or office.

This will ensure that you have the opportunity to quibble and dither, as usual, before you pick your tree. Then, miraculously, they will ensure that it is standing up straight indoors in the perfect spot before they leave (they will even decorate it for you, if you want them to). After Christmas they will collect your now drooping Irish Noble Fir and take it for recycling. Genius? Absolutely. And proceeds go to the Irish Osteoporosis Society.
