Summer reading

I would describe myself as a casual but constant consumer of books. I wouldn't say I'm a serial reader but I like reading – I read mainly for pleasure – and if I find a book I particularly enjoy, I find it hard to put it down. At the moment, I'm engrossed in Falling Angelsby Tracy Chevalier. I'm enjoying the historical context as it's set in the early 1900s, and although it's a bit slow moving, it has good earthy characters.

I'm also reading a business book, The Pursuit Of Wow!by Tom Peters, and I usually have a selection of travel books by my bed. I don't necessarily think "summer" reading is a chance for people to go from literary works to blockbuster novels, but I can see how people would be tempted to enjoy a lighter read while on holiday. My wishlist? Well, we recently asked our customers for their favourite summer read and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoowas the number one choice, so I would like to read that at some point over the next few months. I have started, however, Living History, Hillary Clinton's memoirs, and I'm really looking forward to finishing that. Do I ever not finish a book? Yes, frequently.
