Despite the economic downturn, supercar development hasn't stopped and McLaren continues to test its new P11 (pictured).
Aimed at rivalling the Mercedes SLR and Ferrari F430, it is a successor to the McLaren F1 and is reportedly powered by a Mercedes-sourced V8 offering 550bhp in a car that weights just 1,350kg.
