Routes to avoid during the week ahead
DUBLIN: Eastbound Green Route of M50 closed for finishing works. Eastbound traffic will be directed via Ballinteer Road, Wyckham By-Pass and Sandyford.
From 9pm to 6am tonight there will be overnight closures northbound on M11 near Fassaroe. Northbound traffic will be diverted at Fassaroe.
Road southeast of the Square in St Anne's Park, Shankill closed for upgrading roadway, works to the open space and housing construction. Diversions signposted.
Alternative route via northwestern side of square. Traffic management plan in operation, diversions signposted.
Temporary restrictions for construction of Drinan Interchange (on M1 south of Swords), with lane closures on M1 for 2 km north of Dublin Airport interchange. One lane maintained in each direction.
Leopardstown Rd one-way west to east from Kilgobbin Rd/Hillcrest Rd junction to Murphystown Rd. Traffic from N11 will detour at Murphystown Rd to Kilgobbin Rd.
LOUTH: Works on N2 south of Ardee at Hunterstown.
Traffic management plan on Dundalk Western bypass.
Northbound traffic diverts west at junction of N52/Racecourse Road, northwards at junction of Racecourse Road /N1 from Dundalk, to link up with Ballymascanlon Roundabout and proceed northwards as per the current route.
Traffic entering Ballymascanlon Roundabout from R173 (Carlingford Road ) wishing to take the existing N1 to Dundalk will be diverted south to link up with the diverted northbound traffic at the junction of the N52 and Racecourse Road.
OFFALY: Roadworks on the N52 on the main Tullamore to Birr Road (Between Blueball and the Idle Corner). There will be traffic lights in operation for approximately until at least the end of May.
LIMERICK: Resurfacing on N20 from O'Rourkes Cross to County Bounds until the beginning of July. One-way traffic during normal working hours, controlled by flagmen. Alternative route via Kilmallock: this is not, however, a mandatory diversion.
Clancy Strand closed from junction with Ennis Road to junction with N7 for construction of Limerick Main Drainage Contract Works.
TIPPERARY: Roadworks on Moneygall side of Toomevara Village on the N7. There are temporary traffic lights.
WEXFORD: New traffic signals and a new traffic layout are in operation on the Quay in New Ross. Motorists are asked to be alert to the new traffic lights and signs and to please exercise caution in the area.
WATERFORD : There is one-way system controlled by traffic lights on the Tramore Road due to the construction works at the Tramore Rd Roundabout. Minor delays likely.
Peter St in Waterford has reopened following roadworks. The traffic flow on Bakehouse lane has completely reversed as a result. Traffic must go from Lady Lane to Arundel Square and Peter St.
KERRY: There are major roadworks on the National Secondary Road N86 west of Camp village until the first week in June.
