Routes to avoid during the week ahead..
DUBLIN: Newhaggard-Rush/Church Rd (Baleally Lane) closed until Friday, July 2. Part of Rogerstown Lane will also close at entrance to Balally Landfill. Alternative routes available. Baleally Lane accessible from Blakes Cross-Skerries Rd (R127) and Rogerstown Lane via the Lusk/Rush Rd (R128).
George's Hill and Station St, Balbriggan, due to reopen on June 1st, now closed until June 25 because of unexpected problems with works.
Adamstown Road, from Finnstown Priory Park to 300m west of Canal Bridge, closed overnight until Sunday, June 20, for resurfacing and repairs. Closing times: Thursday - Friday 10pm to 6am. Diversions.
KILDARE: New roundabout in Athy at Dublin end of Leinster Street. Approach with care.
WESTMEATH: Restrictions and lights for about eight weeks on N6 west of Kinnegad for work associated with Kilcock-Kinnegad bypass. Delays expected.
Lane restrictions westbound on N4 Mullingar bypass for about 12 weeks. Use old Dublin Road through Mullingar.
CORK: Until Wednesday, June 30, Crosshaven-Carrigaline Rd closed to traffic from junction of O'Leary's Cross to junction at Grand Hotel Apartments. Road opened each Friday at 9pm until following Monday at 9am.
Patrick St one way from Merchants Quay to Grand Parade for works until July.
LIMERICK: Major diversion on Lower Shannon St/Henry St to June 23 between 8pm and 6am Monday to Fridays. Diversions signposted. Traffic to north city (Ennis Rd, Condell Rd) from O'Connell St, Roches St, Mallow St, O'Connell Ave and Henry St should use Shannon Bridge.
GALWAY: Works on main N18 south of Gort until at least mid-July from Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 7.30pm.
CARLOW: Works on Castledermot Rd, Tullow, from 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday. Works in place from Tullow Bridge to Killerig Cross to last seven more weeks. Long delays.
OFFALY: Lights on Main St, Ferbane, for sewerage work until at least June 18. Severe delays expected.
TIPPERARY: Works on N7 near Birdhill until August 17. Control measures in place, but expect significant delays.
KERRY: Works on N71 Kenmare to Glengarriff road at Bonane until June 12, on N70 Kenmare to Sneem road at Templenoe until June 25, and N70 Sneem to Waterville road at Castlecove until July 2. Works on N72 Killorglin to Killarney road at Dunmaniheen until June 11 and N72 Killarney to Rathmore at Ardaneanig until June 25.
KILKENNY: One-way system on Patrick St from junction with Parade to junction with Upper New St until next Monday for works on ESB networks, public lighting, broadband crossings, footpath and road restoration. Traffic will flow from Upper New Street to the Parade.
One-way system on Upper New St from Patrick St Church towards McDonalds. Strict parking restrictions in these areas during works.
WATERFORD: Mall Lane closed for six months until Tuesday, November 16. Local diversions.
Adelphi Quay now closed until Saturday, June 19. Diversions in operation.
