Jaguar's S-Type is to get an upgrade both in engine choice and styling. Newly restyled models are due here in April and the all-new 2.7-litre V6 diesel will be on sale here from June, priced below the 3-litre V6 petrol, probably about €62,000 to €63,000.
The April restyle version will feature optional aluminium interior design first made famous in the 1961 E-Type.
Outside, the design has been extensively re-worked, with cleaner, muscular lines and subtly modified proportions.
A bonnet of lightweight aluminium instead of steel gives improved weight distribution and handling balance.

The revised shape also brings tighter panel fits. There are new wheel styles and a variety of new and upgraded extras.
