Did you take any rider training course before you took to two wheels?

No, but I found one lesson was good before my test and I hold a full licence.

Do you drive a car?

Yes, a GT Bentley Continental.

Any family resistance to your riding a bike?

Yes, my mother never liked them but she eventually came around.

Motorcycle fatalities are on the increase. Do you worry about your survival as a biker?

Yes, but the key to staying safe is to pay attention.

No

Have you taken any trips abroad on two wheels?

Yes, and I rent Harleys when I'm abroad. I would choose any Harley, although I enjoy them all. America is great for opening the throttle - their roads are built for it!

How do you deal with any attention you receive when you're cruising around town?

Well, that's another advantage of a bike - the driver and passengers are anonymous.

Do you think that there is a bond that links bikers closer than motorists?

Yes, bikers usually have a passion for their machines whereas most motorists usually regard their cars as a vehicle to get them from A to Z.

What, if any, has been your worst experience with motorists?

That they don't pay attention.

Yes, consider letting bikes use the bus lanes.

I'm lucky, I already have them!
