Honda’s exciting new touring bike

HONDA HAS unveiled its exciting new VFR1200F touring motorcycle for 2010.

The new VFR’s 1,237cc liquid-cooled 76-degree V-4 engine produces 170bhp and 95lb ft of torque.

The motorcycle has a symmetrically coupled phase-shift crankshaft, enabling the bike to produce maximum torque without any unsettling vibrations.

It also uses the unicam single overhead camshaft cylinder, technology derived from motocross machines.

The VFR has a high-performance braking system, and is equipped with powerful new six-piston calipers on 320mm discs at the front and 276mm at the rear, and with CBS and ABS.

Its new patented layered fairing design is ergonomically styled and allows air to flow between the layers to ensure greater stability at high speeds.

Available in three colours – candy prominence red, seal silver metallic and pearl sunbeam white.

Yamaha’s latest Diversion

MEANWHILE, YAMAHA has officially unveiled its new XJ6 Diversion F motorcycle. The new Diversion features an aerodynamic full fairing and is built on the existing XJ6 Diversion.

An ABS version will also be available and it comes in viper blue or midnight black.
