KIA WILL unveil its funky looking, spacious new supermini concept at the Geneva motor show next week.

Codenamed the Kia Number 3, it is a vital part of the firm’s small car strategy to challenge the Ford Fiesta, and could even rival mini-MPVs like the Vauxhall Meriva because of its size.

The concept Number 3 features a striking glasshouse where the windscreen blends into a panoramic glass ceiling.

It’s a five-seater, but the interior seems much more luxurious than we’ve come to expect from Kia.

It has been designed in Europe by Kia’s new styling team, led by Peter Schreyer, who previously designed the original Audi TT.

We’ll know more about its position as a production car after the motor show next week.
