FREE MILEAGE: In the latest move to improve customer service within the industry, Mitsubishi is offering free unlimited mileage motor assistance in Ireland and Europe to its new customers. Home or roadside assistance is provided in all instances with recovery to the nearest Mitsubishi dealership if the vehicle is not immediately repairable. If the vehicle cannot be repaired on the same day, owners can avail of either transport home if the owner is less than 50 km from home, or accommodation for a maximum of four nights if the owner lives more than 50 km for there. The package also includes a replacement car for two working days or five working days, depending on how far it is from the owner's home.
NEW MODELS: Skoda has added a new 1.9 litre, 130 bhp RS TDI version and a new 1.4 litre TDI to its Fabia range. The RS TDI, in Hatchback version only, is priced at €€23,900 (ex-works). The 1.4 litre TDI is powered by a 75 bhp three-cylinder, 5-speed engine begins at €17,570 (ex-works) for the Classic version hatchback model.
NEW DEALERS: MG Rover Ireland has appointed new dealers in Kildare and Cork, bringing its dealer network up to 16. The two new dealers are TP Waters in Kildare, and Denis and Mary Ryan in Bishopstown, Co Cork.
