SalesResults: A large Victorian semi-detached house at 10 Clyde Road in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 has been sold for around €6 million through McNally Handy & Partners.

The two-storey over garden level house was until recently the headquarters of Quinlan Private, the company controlled by property financier Derek Quinlan. It's a lavishly refurbished house with around 357 sq m (3,842 sq ft) of accommodation that could easily reconvert to family use.

Clyde Road has a mix of commercial and residential houses, including a number of embassies. The selling agents had pitched number 10 at the embassy market but would not reveal whether the purchasers intend to use the house as either office or a home.

Elsewhere, a number of private treaty sales were wrapped up immediately before Christmas and in the early days of the new year.
