A large Victorian two-storey over garden level period house at 36 Wellington Road in Dublin 4 was sold after auction yesterday for over £1.25m (1.58m) by Ganly Walters.

In Sandymount, a two-storey over garden level period house at 85 Tritonville Road was withdrawn at £830,000 (1.05m) and sold later for a higher figure through Lisney.

A four-bedroom detached house at 25 Park Lane was sold at a Lisney auction for £775,000 (984,047).

Still in Sandymount, 5 St Albans Park, a five-bedroom semi-detached house made £485,000 (615,822) through Jackson-Stops.

Sherry FitzGerald is seeking £545,000 (692,007) for Moncreiffe, a four-bedroom detached house at Glenalua Heights, Killiney, following its withdrawal from auction yesterday.

In Dalkey, a detached house, Ulverton on Ulverton Road, was withdrawn by Jackson-Stops.

In Sandycove, Wyse &Co is seeking £595,000 (755,494) for a three-bedroom house at 9 Sandycove Avenue East after it failed to sell at auction.

Nearby, 5 Lr Albert Road, Sandycove, a three-bedroom house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is seeking £460,000 (584,079).

A four-bedroom semi-detached house, Roslea at Spencer Villas, Glenageary, made £590,000 (749,145) at a Lisney auction.

Still in Glenageary, a four-bedroom semi-detached house at 4 St Catherines Park, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £427,500 (542,813).

In Monkstown, 28a &28c Stable Lane, two adjoining mews houses, were withdrawn from auction by HOKResidential: Number 28a is now quoting £375,000 (476,151) while 28c carries a quoting price of £325,000 (412,664).

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 14 Booterstown Park, Booterstown, was sold at auction for £435,000 (552,336) by Terry Halpenny.

A two-bedroom cottage at 9 Pembroke Cottages, Booterstown, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is seeking £310,000 (393,618)

In Blackrock, 2 Temple Park Avenue, a three-bedroom house, was sold at a Lisney auction for £395,000 (501,546)

A three-bedroom bungalow at 22 Deerpark Road, Mount Merrion was sold at auction for £445,000 (565,033) through HOK Residential.

In Foxrock, Karibu, a five-bedroom detached house on 0.4 acres on Westminster Road, was withdrawn by Lisney. which is seeking £1.65m (2.09m).

In Templeogue, a four-bedroom detached house on 0.9 acres, Garty at Knocklyon Road, was sold at auction for £870,000 (1.10m) through Harper O'Grady.

A three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow at 180 Kimmage Road West in Dublin 12, was sold at auction for £279,000 (354,256) by HOK Residential.

In Chapelizod, Dublin 20, Wendover, in the Strawberry Beds, a four-bedroom bungalow on an acre, was sold at auction for £680,000 through HOK Residential.

Douglas Newman Good is seeking about £350,000 (444,408) for 81a Grosvenor Lane in Rathmines, a three-bedroom mews house.

In Dartry, The Coach House, a two-bedroom detached house at 22 Dartry Road was withdrawn by Gunne Residential which is seeking over £300,000 (380,921).

The same agent withdrew the home of Dublin journalist, Terry Keane, at 62 Ranelagh Road at £750,000 (952,303). The four-bedroom end-of-terrace house is currently under negotiation

Close by, 46 Sandford Road, a five/six-bedroom house was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £750,000 (952,303).

On Terenure Road West, Horton Court, with eight apartments was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is seeking £1.45m (1.84m).

A three-bedroom end of terrace house at 1 Wilfrid Road, Harold's Cross, Dublin 6W was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good, which is seeking £320,000 (406,316).

North Dublin

Lisney is seeking £760,000 (965,000) for Stonehaven, a six-bedroom detached house on 0.25 acres on Dublin Road, Malahide.

In Dublin 5, 17 Abbeyfield, Killester, a three-bedroom bungalow was sold prior to auction for over £275,000 (349,177) through Gunne Residential.

A five-bedroom bungalow at 41 Kincora Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential which is seeking £550,000 (698,355).

In Drumcondra, Dublin 9, a six-bedroom house at 31 Hollybank Road was withdrawn by Gunne Residential, which is seeking £400,000 (507,895).

Co Wicklow

A four-bedroom detached house, on 1.5 acres, Oaklea at Rocky Valley Drive, Kilmacanogue was withdrawn at £530,000 (672,961) and sold later for a higher figure by Druker Fanning.

A six-bedroom detached house on 1.33 acres, Ballinagee House, Enniskerry, was withdrawn by Jackson-Stops which sold it later for over the guide of £650,000 (825,329).

Still in Enniskerry, Old Estate House, a four-bedroom house, was withdrawn by Jackson-Stops, which is seeking about £850,000 (1.07m).

In Greystones, Mortimer, a four-bedroom detached house at St Vincent Road, was sold at auction for £650,000 (825,329) through Jackson-Stops.

A three-bedroom bungalow, Maple Lodge, at 67 Meath Road, Bray, was withdrawn by Lisney which is quoting £345,000 (438,059).

In Delgany, Jackson-Stops is seeking about £750,000 (952,303) for 6 Dromont, a four-bedroom bungalow on an acre after it failed to sell at auction.

Lisney has reported the sale of Merrion Lodge on the Merrion Road, an eight-bedroom Bed and Breakfast property. It made around the asking price of £1.3m (1.65m).

In Ballsbridge, a two-bedroom apartment at 122 The Sweepstakes, was sold for £700,000 (888,816) by Sherry FitzGerald.

The same agent has sold 1 Ardeevin Terrace, in Dalkey, an end of terrace period house for close to the asking price of £750,000 (952,303).

In Ranelagh, 2 Charleston Avenue, a four-bed mid-terraced house, was sold by Lisney for around £380,000 (482,500).

Provincial

In Co Kildare, a residential 38-acre farm at Fourcomers, Naas, was auctioned in four lots by Brophy Farrell: Lot 1, a house on four acres sold for £560,000 (711,053); Lot 2, comprising 10 acres, was withdrawn at £360,000 (457,105) and sold later for a higher figure; Lot 3, a 12-acre holding, sold for £612,000 (777,079) and Lot 4 also 12 acres sold for £490,000 (622,171).

Chestnut Lodge at Ballymount, Colbinstown, Co Kildare, a four-bedroom house on 15.5 acres was withdrawn at £300,000-plus. The house on 0.5 acres is now on the market at £200,000 (253,947) through Colm McEvoy.

In Kilcock, 19 acres at Fernslough was withdrawn at £345,000 (438,059) by Colm McEvoy while at The Curragh, Blackmiller Stables, a house on 2.5 acres sold at auction for £366,000 (464,724).

Near Sallins, the same agent sold a derelict house on 0.3 acres at Millicent, at auction for £175,000 (222,204).

Keane Mahony Smith secured £1.35m (1.71m) at auction for a four-bedroom house, Upper Punchestown House, on 11 acres at Rathmore, Naas.

A 21-acre farm at Ballyonan, Broadford, was sold at auction for £121,000 (153,638) through T.E. Potterton.

In Kilcullen, a house on 114 acres at , was sold for £820,000 (1.04m) while 34 acres at Calverstown made £325,000 (412,664).

Raymond Potterton secured £900,000 (1.14m) at auction for Kilmoorland Stud, Rathmoylan, Co Meath, a four-bedroom house on 25 acres.

Still in Co Meath, 81 acres at Grangeboyne, Kilmessan, was sold at auction in three lots by T.E. Potterton: Lot 1, 27 acres, made £215,000 (272,993); Lot 2, 29 acres, sold for £240,000 (304,737) and Lot 3, 25 acres, sold for £170,000 (215,855).

In Co Westmeath, a two-bedroom cottage-style bungalow on the Dublin Road, Kilbeggan, was sold at auction for £72,000 (91,421).

John Rohan sold Washington Lodge, a detached six-roomed house at Newtown, Waterford prior to auction for under £400,000 (507,895).

Commercial

In Dublin 2, 14 Fitzwilliam Square, a 4,270 sq. ft. office building was withdrawn at £2.8m (3.55m) and sold later for close to £3m (3.80m) by Finnegan Menton.

In Dublin 4, a site with planning permission for residential/retail at Herbert Place, was withdrawn at £650,000 (825,329) and is under negotiation through Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne.

A site with planning permission for two three-bed townhouses at 8/8a Garden Terrace, Clanbrassil St Upper, Harold's Cross, sold at auction for £266,500 (338,385) through Lowe &Associates.

In Dublin 1, The Snug licensed premises on Dorset Street was withdrawn at £750,000 (952,303) by John Younge.

The same agent withdrew Matthews public house on Benburb Street, Dublin 7.

A 0.37-acre site at Garryknock, Bray Road, Foxrock, Dublin 18, with planning permission for four three-bed terraced houses was sold at auction for £760,000 (965,000) by Ganly Walters.

Hamilton Osborne King secured £750,000 (952,303) under the hammer for a one-acre site with outline planning for 10 three-bed semis at Sandyford Road/Village in Co Dublin.

Lawless Hotel, Aughrim Village, Co Wicklow, was withdrawn at £1.7m (2.15m) and is under negotiation through Morrisseys.

In Co Kildare, the Credit Union offices off Main Street, Maynooth, was withdrawn by Coonan and sold later for over the guide of £250,000-plus (317,434-plus).

Also in CoKildare, a five-acre site with planning permission for a 25-bed nursing home at Dunaney was withdrawn at £250,000 (317,434) and is under negotiation through Jordan Auctioneers.
