Tipperary Crystal pays £100,000-plus key money

Tipperary Crystal has paid key money of over £100,000 for a leasehold interest in the former Mary Anderson store at 53 Dawson Street. The four-storey over basement Georgianstyle building is rented at £45,500 per annum, with the next review due in September, 2001. The 1,000 sq ft shop and the basement were occupied by Mary Anderson, while the upper floors are sub-let on a short-term lease until this month. Mervyn Feely of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald handled the assignment of the lease.
