Shopfront: Despite its familiar New England, Patrician, WASP-y marketing style (hello Ralph Lauren) and the fact that it has the same name as a Boston town, the Lexington bedlinen range is actually from Sweden.

Every second picture in their brochure seems to include the American flag so you're left in no doubt as to their inspiration. But anyway it's lovely stuff and newly available at Inreda on Camden Street, Dublin 2. Better known as stockists of some of the better contemporary furniture to be found in Dublin, this is their first foray into the 'soft' side of interiors. What's available includes duvets, pillowcases, sheets, bedspreads, blankets and so on. Styles are classic (for example, white Oxford pillowcases with three navy stripes), seaside (blues), country (patchwork) and city (plain) in fabrics such as flannel, denim and jersey. Most styles might be good for teenager's bedrooms. Keep the slicker looks, as shown here, for yourself. Prices are mid-range.
