There's something for everyone in Shankill. The Corbawn area for those seeking a variety of estate houses from three-bed semis to four-bedroom detached - those nearer the cliffs are the most sought-after. Also Quinn's Road has a variety of cul-de-sacs, like Foxes Grove, which are very good.

Corbawn Lane has the biggest selection of three and four-bedroom semis. Quinn's Road is a magnificent road going right down to the sea with nice cul-de-sacs such as Clonasleigh.

The estates off Corbawn Lane and Hollypark are good because of their convenience to the DART. You can get a four-bed semi here in the early £200,000s. I'd tip here because its walkable to the shopping centre, the DART, the beach and the playing fields.

Dorney Court and Eaton Wood have seen a dramatic increase in the last few months. My favourite places are the roads off Quinn's Road - Shrewsbury Road and Foxes Grove houses are so well built you can't go wrong. The ex-council houses on St Anne's park are cheaper but still top class.

Castle Farm has gone up a lot in price and has matured very nicely. The cottages behind the village are great buys if you are prepared to do the work.
