HOLIDAY HOMES:MORE than five years after they first went on the market, homes in the Marella Development in Enniscrone, Co Sligo are being sold by the receiver David Hughes at prices that represent a discount of more than 60 per cent on their initial launch prices.

There are 25 three- and four-bed homes on the market in the development of 50 units, located in the landscaped grounds of the Diamond Coast hotel, which has been trading since 2006.

Prices start at €110,000 for the three-bed units and Kelly Walsh has been appointed as selling agent by the receiver to dispose of the 25 homes, which are located beside Enniscrone Golf Club and close to the 5km Golden Beach.

Prospective buyers should note that the units come in varying degrees of finish internally.

The prices go up to €170,000 for a four-bed detached house and the homes will will be sold on a first come, first served basis,

They are located about 54 km from Sligo town and 14km from Ballina.

When they were first built, between 2006 and 2007, units sold for between €375,000 and €495,000
