Rathmichael house on one acre makes over €4 million

SalesResults: Sherry FitzGerald has fetched over €4 million for a six-bedroom house, Marble Hall, Ferndale Glen in Rathmichael, Co Dublin.

The modern detached house, which is on an acre of landscaped gardens, was withdrawn from auction last October.

Meanwhile in the west of Ireland, Colliers Jackson-Stops has sold a large sporting estate - the Clydagh Estate near Headford in Co Galway - for a price believed to be around €4.5 million.

The house on 200 acres, with extensive frontage onto Lough Corrib, was snapped up by an Englishman who came to fish in the local area and heard that Clydagh might be for sale.

The property was not offered on the open market, but sold in private negotiations through Colliers' John Hamilton.

In south Dublin, Sherry FitzGerald has sold a five-bed detached house - Siena on Victoria Road in Dalkey - for €1.63 million. The property comes with a secluded courtyard and is close to Sorrento Road and Coliemore Harbour.

Siena failed to sell at auction last September but a sale was concluded in recent weeks.

Elsewhere in south County Dublin, a three-bedroom bungalow - 17 Prospect Lawn, The Park, Cabinteely - sold for region €750,000 through Daphne L Kaye & Associates.

The same agent has also sold a three-bedroom semi-detached house at 10 Maple Manor, Cabinteely, Co Dublin, for €685,000.

In Co Wicklow, a four-bedroom detached house, 90 Deepdales, Bray, sold for €695,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

The same agent secured €395,000 for 26 The Maltings, Bray, Co Wicklow, a two-bed mid-terrace house.

Still in Co Wicklow, 216 Redford Park in Greystones, a two-bedroom semi-detached bungalow, sold for €400,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

Gunne Residential has sold a number of properties in Dublin 7: a two-bedroom end-of-terrace house at 153 Annamoe Drive, Cabra, sold for over €420,000; and a three-bedroom mid-terrace house at 173 Carnlough Road, Cabra, made over €375,000.

Also in Dublin 7, the same agent secured €415,000 for 11 Inver Road, Cabra, a three-bedroom semi-detached house.

Meanwhile in north County Dublin, a three-bedroom mid-terrace house at 37 Scholars Walk in Lusk has sold for over €355,000 through Gunne Residential, and the same agent has also sold 27 Bakers Close, Lusk, a four-bedroom end-of-terrace house, for €415,000.

Also in north Dublin, a two-bedroom second floor apartment - 28 Millbank, The Links, Portmarnock, Co Dublin - sold for region €410,000 through Gunne Residential, and a one-bedroom ground floor apartment - 14 The Orchard, Greenwood, Malahide Road, Dublin 13 - sold for €300,000 through Gunne Residential.

In Dublin 17, the same agent secured over €400,000 for 16 Clonshaugh Close, Clonshaugh, a three-bedroom house.

In Dublin 1, Apartment 2, 37 North Lotts, a one-bedroom unit, sold for region €445,000 through Savills Hamilton Osborne King.

A two-bedroom second floor apartment - 20 The Lighthouse, East Wall, Dublin 3 - made over €390,000 through Gunne Residential.

The same agent secured over €317,000 for 3 St Brigids Cottages, North Strand, Dublin 3, a one-bedroom mid-terrace cottage.

A three-bedroom terraced house at 5 Edenmore Gardens, Edenmore, Raheny, Dublin 5, sold for region €370,000 through Gunne Residential.
