Sandyford may be one of southside Dublin's fastest-growing suburbs, but it's not all plain sailing for developers there. Deane Brothers Developments has just been refused permission to build 135 houses on lands at Greenfield, Kilgobbin Road, Sandyford, Co Dublin.
It will be interesting to see how many houses the planners will allow on the 30 acres at Glencairn, a stone's throw away from the nearby Gallops development, which was built by Park, which plans to develop the Glencairn site. In the meantime, Deane Brothers will almost certainly appeal the refusal.
