Park and ride facility planned for Luas on Sandyford road

DuN Laoghaire Rathdown Co Council has cleared the way for a large residential development and a park-and-ride facility beside the Luas light rail system on Sandyford Road in Dublin 16. Gannon Homes, which specialises in assembling development sites, has secured permission to demolish Rockfield House and two other houses along with outbuildings at Sandyford Road near the southern section of the Wyckham by-pass. The new development will include 424 apartments, 563 underground car-parking spaces, shops, offices, restaurant and bar.
