Have a look around family homes in Howth, Wicklow and south Dublin, with prices starting at €290,000, writes EMMA CULLINAN

THE PRICE of Park Lodge, a large period villa on 0.4 of an acre at 1 Castlepark Road in Sandycove, Co Dublin, has been cut to €1.75 million. Dublin city can be reached on a mainline train from the station at Kilcoole, and the Dart from Greystones.
