In Dublin 16, Hamilton Osborne King secured a strong price of £1,110,000 at auction for Cloragh Lodge, Cloragh Road, a five-bedroom neo-Georgian house on four acres. The property had been guided at £850,000 prior to auction.

In Dundrum, Dublin 14, Sydenham House, at Sydenham Villas, a five-bedroom Victorian house on half an acre was sold prior to auction for over the guide price of £800,000 through Hamilton Osborne King.

Elsewhere in Dublin 14, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, at 14 Goatstown Road, Goatstown, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Gunne.

In Clonskeagh, Milverton, at 20 Maple Road, a Crampton-built four-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £725,000.

South Dublin

In Dalkey, a four-bedroom semidetached house, at 5 Derrynane Terrace, was withdrawn at £285,000 and sold later for a higher price through Lisney.

In Dun Laoghaire, 11 Royal Terrace West, a two-storey over garden level Victorian house, made £540,000 at a Hamilton Osborne King auction.

A two-bedroom cottage, Eglinton Cottage, on Tivoli Road, Dun Laoghaire, was sold at a Lisney auction for £335,000.

A four-bedroom detached house, 36 Brook Court, Monkstown, was sold at auction for £345,000 through Christies.

In Mount Merrion, 11 Trees Avenue, a six-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £500,000.

In Blackrock, 113 Newtownpark Avenue, a three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow, was withdrawn at £263,000 by Terry Halpenny and sold later for a higher price. In Loughlinstown, a five-bedroom detached house at 37 Rathmichael Manor, was withdrawn at £330,000 and sold later for a higher price through Lisney.

Dublin 2 and 4

In Sandymount, a four-bedroom house at 17 Sandymount Avenue, was withdrawn at £415,000 and is under negotiation through Cumiskey Cooke Scales.

A three-bedroom terraced house at 100 South Lotts Road, Ringsend, made £165,000 through Gunne.

Dublin 6 and 8

A four-bedroom mid-terraced house at 3 Mount Harold Terrace, Rathmines, was withdrawn by Finnegan Menton, which is quoting £450,000.

A four-bedroom mid-terraced house at 18 Airfield Road, Rathgar, was sold at auction for £320,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Ranelagh, 16 Gulistan Terrace, a two-bedroom mid-terraced house in very good decorative order, made £290,000 at a Lisney auction.

North Dublin

Near Santry, Dublin 17, Larch Hill, a period house on 6.5 acres of development land, was sold at auction by joint agents Ganly Walters and Hamilton Osborne King for £9.75 million. It was bought by Dublin house-builder, Niall Langan.

A three-bedroom mid-terraced house at 81 Raheny Road, Raheny, Dublin 5, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £155,000.

Sherry FitzGerald is seeking £215,000 for 102 Abbeyfield, Killester, Dublin 5, a refurbished two-bedroom bungalow, following its withdrawal from auction.

In Clontarf, 8 Woodside, a five-bedroom detached house, was sold at a Gunne auction for £510,000.

A four-bedroom mid-terraced house at 7 Royal Canal Terrace, Phibsboro, Dublin 7, was sold at a Douglas Newman Good auction for £216,000.

A three-bedroom mid-terraced house at 44 Connaught Street, Phibsboro, Dublin 7, was withdrawn at £205,000 and is under negotiation through Mason Estates.

In Malahide, Ravenswood, on Dublin Road, a four-bedroom bungalow on 0.46 acres, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £630,000.

In Newcastle, Co Dublin, a five-bedroom house on an acre, Athgoe Lodge, was withdrawn at £265,000 and is under negotiation through Coonan.

Wicklow

Gunne sold a four-bedroom detached bungalow with a two-bedroom annex on 1.15 acres, Lisclogher, on Bray Road, Enniskerry, after auction for a price believed to be over £350,000. In Delgany, Glendale, a three-bedroom detached bungalow on 1.3 acres, was sold at auction for £550,000 through Jackson-Stops McCabe.

Still in Delgany, Araglin, a six-bedroom detached house on an acre at Riverside, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Gunne. A stone-built farmhouse on an acre in Glenmalure, was withdrawn by J.P. & M. Doyle, which is quoting £105,000.

In Ashford, a bungalow on 1.5 acres, Ballinahinch, was withdrawn and sold later through Clarke Auctioneers.

A four-bedroom bungalow on half an acre, Woodside, Ballincarrig, Lower Rathdrum, was withdrawn by Harrington Lait. In Aughrim, a 107-acre non-residential farm at Cappagh was auctioned in four lots through J.P. & M. Doyle. Lot 1: 65 acres was withdrawn at £110,000; Lot 2: 36 acres sold for £95,000; Lot 3: 4.5 acres made £26,000; Lot 4: two acres fetched £8,200.

A 41-acre farm at Drummin, Laragh, was sold at auction for £196,000 through J.P. & M. Doyle.

Provincial

In north Co Dublin, a 70-acre farm at the Grallagh, Garristown, was sold at auction by Ganly Craigie in two lots. Lot 1: 48 acres sold for £320,000; Lot 2: 22 acres made £195,000.

Also in Garristown, a 54-acre farm at Moorepark was sold prior to auction for over the guide price of £375,000-plus by Ronald Duff & Associates.

In Dunboyne, Co Meath, Sunnydale, a five-bedroom bungalow on 0.75 acres, was withdrawn by Coonan.

Also in Dunboyne, Paceland, a six-bedroom house, was withdrawn at £300,000 by Gerard Farrelly.

Ross, a five-bedroom house on 0.5 acres, at Tara, Co Meath, was sold at auction for £225,000 by Raymond Potterton.

A cottage on 6.5 acres at Athronan, Dunsany, was sold at auction for £143,000 through Ronald Duff & Associates.

A five-bedroom detached house on 1.5 acres, Lisdornan, Gormanston/Julianstown, was withdrawn by Hamilton Osborne King and sold later. Meanwhile, a four-bedroom bungalow at Cabinhill, Ratoath, was withdrawn by Ronald Duff & Associates, which is quoting over £220,000.

Still in Co Meath, a six-bedroom bungalow on 0.5 acres, Balrath, Navan, made £137,000, through Keane Mahony Smith.

In Co Westmeath, Raymond Potterton sold St John's Church, in Drumcree, at auction for £86,000.

A derelict cottage on half an acre, Graguepottle, Donadea, Co Kildare, was withdrawn at £80,000 and is under negotiation through Coonan.

A six-bedroom Victorian house on 4.5 acres with a three-bedroom mews house, Clodagh House, Portlaw, Co Waterford, was withdrawn at £260,000 and sold later for £290,000 through Shee & Hawe.

In Co Wexford, Riverview, at Ballyellen Lower, Inch, Gorey, a four-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn at £185,000 and is under negotiation through Warren Estates.

Lisney's Cork office had two auctions this week: a period house, Carrigbarre, 2 Bishop's Street, Cork was sold for £407,000 while a six-bedroom period house on 0.67 acres, Mount Alto, in Cobh, was withdrawn and sold later for £300,000.

Commercial

In Dublin 18, a nine-acre residential development site, at Lehaunstown, Cabinteely, was sold by tender for over £3.6 million, by Daphne L. Kaye & Associates.

In Rathmines, Dublin 6, a development opportunity at 1A Church Gardens, a car sales yard with planning for five houses, made over £620,000 after auction through Lisney.

In Dublin 12, 122a Cromwellsfort Road and 2 Cherry Grove, Walkinstown, on a 0.36acre site was sold at auction for £775,000 through Gunne.

A restaurant premises, Balduccis, at 27 Westmoreland Street, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Douglas Newman Good.

In Bray, Co Wicklow, The Pickled Pig public house, at Upper Dargle Road, was withdrawn at £800,000 and is under negotiation through joint agents Morrisseys and Gabriel Dooley.

In Co Meath, the Athboy Creamery, on three acres in Athboy, was sold at auciton for £435,000 by Raymond Potterton.

In Co Cork, a 3.24-acre site at Monahan's Road, Cork, was sold at auction for £1.85 million, through Cohalan Downing.

A 26-bedroom hotel, the Lansdowne Arms Hotel, Ken mare, was withdrawn at £1.8 million, and is under negotiation through Hamilton Osborne King.

In Co Wexford, Devereux Service Station, at Rosslare Harbour, was sold at auction for £760,000 through Kehoe & Associates.

A 10,000 sq. ft commercial office investment property, The Cornstore, at St Augustine Street, Galway, was sold at auction for £1.625 million through Mason Owen & Lyons.
