Dolly's Grove, the Meath home of fashion designer Pat Crowely and her late husband businessman Conor Crowley sold at auction yesterday for £3.35 million (4.25m). The fine Georgian house on a 62-acre stud farm was guiding £2 million (2.54m) before the auction but with four active bidders in the room it was declared on the market at £2.85 million (3.62m). The stud, which the Crowleys bought 10 years ago, is hidden away in a lovely rural setting less than four miles from Dunboyne, on the Maynooth side of the village. Auctioneer Willy Coonan, who was joint selling agent with Jackson Stops, dropped the hammer on the final bid making it one of the biggest prices paid at auction for a stud farm close to Dublin in recent years.

South Dublin

In Sandycove, 3 Ballygihen Avenue, a four-bedroom mid-terrace house was sold at auction yesterday for £570,000 (723,750) by Wyse &Co.

A four-bedroom house at 6 Claremont Villas off Adelaide Road in Glenageary was withdrawn at £670,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Sherry FitzGerald

Elsewhere in Dalkey, Chatswood on Saval Park Road, a three-bedroom bungalow on 0.33 acres, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is seeking £795,000 (1m).

A six-bedroom house, Dunromin on Strand Road, Killiney, was withdrawn at £1 million (1.27m) by Gunne Residential, which is seeking over £1.4m (1.77m). There is planning permission for a large detached house on the grounds.

In Mount Merrion, a four-bedroom house at 27 Greenfield Road was withdrawn at £550,000 (698,355) by Lisney, which is seeking £665,000 (844,375).

A three-bedroom semi-detached house at 4 Maretimo Place, Blackrock, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is seeking £300,000 (380,921).

Also in Blackrock, 34 Frascati Park, a four-bedroom house was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which is seeking £520,000 (660,263).

Close by, off Mount Merrion Avenue, 3 Brooklawn, a four-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn at £500,000 (634,869) by Lisney, which is quoting £610,000 (774,540).

In Foxrock, Dublin 18, a five-bedroom detached house at 10 Carraig Glen, Brennanstown Road, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good which is seeking about £700,000 (888,881) .

In Glencullen, a four-bedroom bungalow on an acre, Springfield House, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential.

A three-bedroom house called Swan Lake, 1a Chapelizod Road, Chapelizod, Dublin 20, was sold at auction for £205,000 (260,296) through Lisney.

Dublin 2 &4

Lisney secured over the withdrawal figure of £1.25m (1.58m) after auction for 34 Eglinton Road, Donnybrook, a five-bedroom semi-detached house.

In Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, 3 Ailesbury Road, a five-bedroom house, was withdrawn at £3.5m (4.44m) and is under negotiation through Gunne Residential.

Gunne Residential is seeking over £390,000 (495,197) for 6 Tritonville Road, Sandymount, after it failed to sell at auction.

Dublin 6 &8

Off Upper Rathmines Road, 8 Summerville Park, a three-bedroom house, was sold under the hammer for £273,000 (346,638) by Herman White.

In Terenure, 99 Templeogue Road, a semi-detached house was withdrawn at £850,000 (1.07m) and is under negotiation through Harper O'Grady.

North Dublin

In Dublin 9, a four-bedroom semi-detached house at 96 Iveragh Road, Whitehall, was sold at a Lisney auction for £390,000 (495,197).

Also in Dublin 9, Sherry FitzGerald secured £357,500 at auction for 87 St Mobhi Road in Glasnevin, a four-bedroom semi-detached house.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house, Greenore at 41 Mount Prospect Avenue in Clontarf, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Skerries, Co Dublin, a four-bedroom house, Cloghmore on North Strand, was withdrawn at £420,000 (533,289) by Douglas Newman Good, which sold it later for a higher figure.

Wicklow

A three-bedroom bungalow, Fairways at Dunbur Road, Wicklow, was sold at a Lisney auction for £300,000 (380,921).

A house on 50 acres, Windgate House in Greystones, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good, which is seeking £2 m ( 2.54m).

In Newcastle, a three-bedroom bungalow on 0.66 acres, Clonquin, Horsefield, was withdrawn by HOK Residential, which is seeking £405,000 (514,243).

Near Eniskerry, Dartan, a house on 2.25 acres, was withdrawn by Hassett & Fitzsimons, which is seeking £550,000(€634.869).

Provincial

The seven-bedroom home of singer Ronan Keating and his wife Yvonne, RYK Lodge at Stacumney, Celbridge, Co Kildare, was withdrawn from auction at £850,000 (1.07m). The property is currently under negotiation through joint agents Coonan and HOK.

Elsewhere in Co Kildare, Mariaville, Maynooth, a four-bedroom detached house on 0.66 acres, was sold at auction for £400,000 (507,895) by Coonan.

In Co Meath, Tankardstown House, an eight-bedroom house on 32 acres in Slane, was withdrawn at £1.05m (1.33m) by Jackson-Stops, which is seeking £1.5m (1.90m).

Near Enfield, a derelict cottage at Ballinlig, Broadford, was withdrawn at £100,000 (126,973) and is under negotiation through Coonan.

A 27-acre farm at Riverstown, Kilmessan, Co Meath, was withdrawn at £130,000 (165,065) and sold later for a higher figure through Smith Auctioneers.

Also in Kilmessan, Raymond Potterton sold an 81-acre non-residential farm at Grangeboyne,in three lots:

Lot 1, 27 acres of land, made £215,000 (272,993); and it is currently under negotiation.

An 8.5-acre holding at Kilmoon, Ashbourne, was sold at auction for £189,000 (239,980) by Ronald Duff.

A five-bedroom house on 174 acres, Ballynaskeagh House, Raharney, Co Westmeath, was sold at auction for £950,000 (1.20m) by T.E. Potterton.

Still in Co Westmeath, Slanetown House, Walshestown, a three-bedroom farmhouse on 126.5 acres, was sold at auction for £715,000 (907,862) through Murtagh Bros.

The same agent sold Forgney Lodge at Ballymahon, Co Longford, a three-bedroom lodge on two acres, for £240,000 (304,737).

Matt O'Sullivan sold a three-bedroom house and workshop on 1.6 acres at Corbally, Barna, Co Galway at auction for £180,000 (228,552).

Ganly Walters Boyd secured £180,000 (228,552) under the hammer for Mill Cottage, a thatched cottage on 0.75 acres in Kells, Co Kilkenny.

In Co Waterford, a 72-acre non-residential farm at Gracedieu, Tramore Road, was sold at auction for £740,000 (939,606) by Halley Grace.

A four-bedroom house on 0.75 acres, Woodside House at Golflinks Road, Newrath, was sold at auction for £217,000 (275,533).

Again in Co Waterford, a thatched cottage on 10 acres at Kilfarrasy, Fenor South, Tramore, was sold at auction for £170,000 (215,855).

Commercial

In Dublin 1, the Spi Bar at Eden Quay was withdrawn at £2m (2.53m) and is under negotiation through Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne.

The former premises of ACC Bank at 3-4 Fairview, Fairview, Dublin 3, was withdrawn at £750,000 (952,303) and sold later for a higher figure through Palmer McCormack.

In Dublin 12, a retail premises at 13 St Agnes Road, Crumlin, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne

A bakery premises, Annaville Home Bakery at Brews Hill, Navan, was withdrawn at £300,000 (380,921) and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald-Harlin Farrelly.

Also in Co Meath, Doreys Forge public house in Summerhill was withdrawn at £480,000 (609,474) and sold later through Coonan.

In Batterstown village, a residential retail unit was withdrawn at £165,000 (209,506) and sold later for a higher figure through Property Partners-Brady.

In Co Kildare, Stop &Shop residential shop premises in Kildangan village was withdrawn at £315,000 (399,967) by Colm McEvoy, which is seeking £350,000 (444,408).

A 3.2-acre site with outline planning for 42 apartments at Longford Road, Mullingar, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Hamilton Osborne King.

Sherry FitzGerald-Purcell sold Byrnes Garage on Tramore Road, Waterford, at auction for £490,000 (622,171).

Private Treaty

Hok Residential has secured around the guide price of £3.25m (4.12m) for Cliff Castle in Dalkey. The early Victorian castellated property occupies a waterfront site and sold for over £460,000 (584,079) through Bennetts.

Finnegan Menton has sold Adare, a stone-built mews house at 16a Ailesbury Road in Dublin 4, for £1.6m (2.03m). It was withdrawn from auction at the end of May at £1.15m (1.46m).

Also in Dublin 4, 2 Upper Leeson Street, a four-storey over basement property with eight apartments, was sold for close to £1m (1.26m) by Sherry FitzGerald.

The same agent has sold 11 Merlyn Park in Ballsbridge, a five-bedroom semi-detached house, for about £900,000 (1.14m).

In Mount Merrion, a four-bedroom bungalow at 21 Cherrygarth has been sold for about £450,000 (571,382) through Lisney.

Jackson-Stops in Bray sold 8 Burnaby Woods, Greystones, a detached four-bedroom house, for about £500,000 (634,869).
