Legal eagle's £2.9m deal ends winter of discontent

Things are moving again at the top end of the second hand market, after a sluggish winter in terms of sales. Lisney has just signed a deal on 26 Herbert Park, a semidetached house that has been on the market since October. It's believed to have been sold for around £2.9 million (€3.68m) to a legal eagle who lives close by in Donnybrook. Meanwhile in Glenageary, Lisney has also sold Glasthule Lodge, a Georgian house on half an acre of garden, for a figure thought to be over £1.7 million (€2.16m).
