Overseast property: Continuing Irish interest in its holiday leasebacks has prompted French property tourism company Pierre & Vacances to open a Dublin office in Adelaide Chambers on Peter Street, Dublin 8.

It is managed by Irish business developer Niamh Erbek. The company has just gained its 250th Irish client, attracted mainly through quarterly exhibitions in city hotels.

Most popular destinations in 2005 were Château d'Olonne on the French Atlantic coast and ski resorts in the French Alps. Pierre & Vacances' latest leaseback scheme is Méribel Village in the French Alps at Les Trois Vallées, one of the world's largest ski domains.

Established in 1967, Pierre & Vacances is now a pan-European company, owning three top-performing tourism brands - Pierre & Vacances, Center Parcs Europe and Maeva.
