An Bord Pleanala has granted permission, with revised conditions, for the proposed development of 333 apartments on the site of Larch Hill House, near Coolock, which was sold last year for £9.7 million. Larch Hill, including the Georgian house and 1.5 acres of land at Oscar Traynor Road, was sold at auction last June by the former Bank of Ireland Governor, Mark Hely Hutchinson. It achieved one of the biggest prices for housing land at the time. The application to Dublin Corporation for 333 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, maisonettes and duplex units by Barina Construction was turned down and appealed. Permission with conditions was granted last week.
