CO KILDARE FROM €295,000: NEW HOMES IN Celbridge, Co Kildare come to the market this weekend with prices starting at €295,000.
The Glen is a scheme of 30 two and three-bedroom houses located in Celbridge town.
It is on a mature site in the existing development of Oldtown Mill.
Fourteen of these houses are being released through selling agent Hooke & MacDonald this weekend.
Two show units will be on view on site to coincide with the launch.
Prices are aimed at first-time buyers and start at €295,000 for two-bedroom houses with 74-87sq m (795-930sq ft) of living space.
Three-bedroom houses have 109-113sq m (1,170-1,210sq ft) and are priced from €345,000.
Designed by Anthony Reddy & Associates and developed by Manticor, the scheme is laid out in a horseshoe shape around a landscaped green area.
Three-bedroom houses have an open-plan kitchen/diner to the front and livingrooms to the rear. Two-bedroom houses have a more traditional layout with livingrooms to the front.
Some houses have large attic storerooms with pull-down stairs and sky-light windows.
Buyers will have a choice of kitchens and fireplaces.
Houses at The Glen are due for completion from June of this year, according to the selling agent.
Like many towns in the commuter belt, Celbridge has expanded dramatically in recent years.
According to the most recent census figures it has a population of close to 18,000.
Located 13 miles from Dublin and off the M4, Celbridge also has a mainline train station that has regular commuter services to Dublin.
