A private investor has paid £750,000 for a five-storey commercial building opposite St Martin's House at Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 2. Tesco operates an off-licence on the ground floor and the current rent of £24,500 is expected to double when it is reviewed next September. Patrick Curran of Harrington Bannon, who acted for the purchaser, said it was planned to refurbish the 2,000 sq ft on the upper floors before reletting the space.
