Leather chair at half the price

GREYSTONES-BASED Violette Interiors (01-2016875) has a shop model, cigar-coloured leather armchair for sale at half price, down from €2,200 to €1,100. It's also offering 30 per cent off all orders placed between now and the end of October.

Lowering price of barstools

HOUSEWORKS (01-676 9511) has reduced the price of 13 Lem piston barstools, with swivel and height adjustable functions, and a stainless steel seat, by 40 per cent from €586 per stool to €352 each.

Bathrooms make a splash

DÚN LAOGHAIRE-BASED Surface (01-6637803) has some great designer bargains in bathroom furniture. These include its Alessi bathroom range, now half price, including a super-cool wash-hand basin complete with mixer tap. This was €1,498 and is now €749. Recessionistas will love Surface’s Olympic range with its swish wall-hung toilet, down from €344 to €172 and wash-hand basin, down from €148 to €74. If you want to add a statement feature, what about the Strip stone resin bath and stone wash-hand basin reduced by 70 per cent to €1,900 and €429 respectively. There’s also a Merlyn “Cube” walk-in shower and integrated rainhead shower, now half price at €1,900.

Have a Savanna kitchen - for 33% less

IN HOUSE at the Panelling Centre's new Savanna kitchen has an ivory French-cut door and this is also available in a Lissa oak version called Linden. Fully assembled, the kitchen would normally cost €4,500 but is available as a special introductory offer for €2,999. This price excludes sink, tap and appliances. The offer is available while stocks last at any of its seven branches.
