Dublin 4: € millionWell-heeled buyers looking to trade down in Ballsbridge will be interested in Fairgreen, a modern dormer-style house on over a quarter of an acre of garden in Ailesbury Drive, off Anglesea Road in Dublin 4. Clontarf: €2.7 millionThe home of the late Olympics helmsman Alf Delaney, who died last year, is on the market through Lisney. Called Fourways, it's a pretty corner house standing on close to a third of an acre of grounds at the corner of Seafield Avenue and Vernon Avenue in Clontarf, Dublin 3. Property developers will almost certainly eye the house which has clear development potential according to selling agent Tom Day. It goes to auction on May 3rd. The four-bedroom house dates from the 1920s and has interconecting reception rooms leading to a pretty verandah.

Arklow: €495,000Anyone who got fed up with the rain in Spain at Easter - or who's worried about a property crash there - might be interested in this modest but very well-located bungalow beside Clogga Beach near Arklow, Co Wicklow.
