Hooke and MacDonald have reported strong weekend sales, with £25 million worth of houses and apartments booked in three separate schemes. In Dublin, 42 of the 50 apartments at The Ramparts in Loughlinstown sold at prices mainly from £195,000 (€247,650) for two-bedroom units and from £385,000 (€488,950) for three-bedroom penthouses.

In Drogheda, Hooke and MacDonald and Thomas Byrne sold 45 of the 50 houses being built by Shannon Homes at Grange Rath, Dublin Road. Three-bed semis started at £135,000 (€171,450) while four-bedroom units fetched from £182,000 (€231,140). In Ratoath, the Dublin agent sold 24 three- and four-bedroom semis at Woodland Park. Prices were from £168,500 (€213,995) for the three-bed units and from £195,000 (€247,650) for the four-bedroom semis.
