The owners of the Harry Ramsden fast food restaurant on Naas Road, Dublin 12, have been granted two alternative planning permissions which will involve the demolition of the premises. One of the permissions provides for 37,500 sq ft of office space in a four-storey building. The second permission allows for a similar -sized block with motor showrooms at ground floor level. The site can also accommodate 128 car-parking spaces.

Meanwhile, Kelland Homes hase been refused permission for 125 apartments at Johnstown Road, Cabinteely, Co Dublin. Paddy Ryan of 7 Mountain Villas and 36 Church Road, Killiney, has also failed in his attempt to secure permission for 34 apartments at that address.

In Shankill, Sonnet Ltd has been refused permission by An Bord Pleanβla to proceed with 28 duplex apartment and six three storey townhouses at Aubrey House on Quinns Road.
