For a couple of weeks it has had a board outside the pretty terraced house with the words "Coming Soon" blasted Across it. Now it has produced an eight-page brochure to advertise the house.
One reason for the agency's enthusiasm is that here is a house that is fresh to the market, rather than one that has been sitting for months, or even a year, waiting for a sale. The vendors, who are planning a move to west Cork, are being "realistic" and the price has been pitched at €1.495 million. At the height of the boom, it would have made closer to €2 million, says selling agent Stephen Manek.
