Less than a year in its new large showrooms, Fired Earth is really beginning to show off the range of desirable objects on offer at the store with lots more room for kitchen and bathroom set-ups.
Fired Earth's long standing relationships with the likes of Aga, Falcon, La Cornue, Rangemaster and Rayburn was boosted when it teamed up with new French furniture company Grange last year.
One of the longest-established cabinet makers in Lyon, France, Grange uses only traditional techniques and construction processes and is influenced by 18th century furniture.
A notable addition to The Grange's range in 2006 is a new Shaker-style kitchen, which is simple elegance at its best.
The kitchen range comprises a collection of free-standing modules with fitted cherry counter tops.
A freestanding Shaker-style sideboard costs €1,170, kitchen tables start at €1,362 and ladderback chairs with woven seats cost €271.
The new collection is available in seven colours including the strong green of malachite and deep pink of dragon's blood. Fired Earth are offering introductory packages for the new Shaker-style range to fit different sized kitchens.
The packages, which include sinks and taps, start at €10,910 for the Galley kitchen, €14,292 for the Family kitchen and and 25,018 for the large Living kitchen.
Still popular is the Bastide kitchen range with its quintessential French country look. Tables in the collection start at 1,435 and accompanying Belfast sinks costs 287.
Also new at Fired Earth will be UK company Divertimenti's kitchen accessories.
While kitchens and bathrooms are what Fired Earth is best at, don't overlook their great range of leather furniture, also made by Grange.
