Georgian hunt table €3,000 (€2,800-€3,500); Victorian brass half tester bed €1,200 (€800-€1,000); pair of Edwardian mahogany open bookshelves €1,100 (€800-€1,000); set of six Victorian mahogany dining chairs €650 (€500-€800); Georgian mahogany secretaire bookcase €600 (€600-€800); large giltwood circular convex mirror €580 (€500-€800).

Today:MacDonnell Whyte, stamps and postal history auction, 1pm, Hilton Hotel, Charlemont Place, D2. Postcard sent from Titanic €5,000.

Tomorrow:Dolan's art auction, Rochestown Park Hotel, Rochestown Road, Douglas, Cork at 3pm. Viewing: today 10am-9pm. Almost 250 paintings, some without reserves, and many with estimates under €1,000. Artists include Mark O'Neill, Norman Teeling, Graham Knuttel, Mat Grogan, Diana Marshall and Thelma Mansfield.

Monday(Jan 23rd): Mullen's Laurel Park, Woodbrook, Bray, Co Dublin. Antiques auction at 11am, 800 lots. Furniture, paintings, mirrors, pianos, lamps, light fittings, rugs, porcelain, bronze, silver, and jewellery.

Tuesday (Jan 24th): John Weldon Auctioneers, Cows Lane, Temple Bar, Dublin 8. Auction at 2pm of diamond jewellery, gold and silver. A Georgian Irish silver dish ring, circa 1755, decorated with images of flora and fauna (including a dolphin) €8,000-€10,000.

Thursday(Jan 26th): Charity art auction for Haiti, Origin Gallery, 83 Harcourt St, Dublin 2. Paintings from the Galerie Monnin, Port-au-Prince on view from tomorrow, Sunday and throughout the week until the auction at 7pm on Thursday. Funds raised will support the work of Irish charity Haven working in Haiti.
