One of the two office blocks at the former First Active headquarters in Booterstown, Co Dublin, has been let to IFG, the financial services company, by the new owners. IFG is to pay a rent of £27.50 (€34.92) for 18,700 sq ft on a new 25-year lease with a break clause in year 15.

Skehan House is to be renamed Booterstown Hall when it is upgraded by joint owners Duffy Lally Properties and Irish Life.

They paid nearly £16 million (€20.32) for the complex which will now be divided into two self-contained corporate blocks.

The front block, which is to be enlarged to provide 36,160 sq ft, is available for letting through Palmer McCormack. The agents are quoting a rent of £30 (€38.09) per sq ft for the block which has already attracted the interest of a number of leading companies. There are 102 car-parking spaces on the site which will be rented at £1,250 (€1.587) per annum. Both buildings are due to be completed in April or May next.
