Dun Laoghaire four-bed sells for ?1.16m

It was a mixed week in the sale rooms with a large number of withdrawals indicating an oversupply in the market.

Yesterday the top price paid at auction was €1.16 million - achieved at Lisney for 37 Northumberland Avenue, Dún Laoghaire, a four-bed double-fronted Victorian over garden level house close to the seafront and town centre. The property had been guided at €875,000.

In Castleknock, a modern four-bed house at 1 Chesterfield View fetched €1.14 million under the hammer through Jackson-Stops.
