A four-bedroom semidetached house at 96 Kincora Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3, has sold for £307,000 at auction through the Gunne agency. On Castle Avenue, Clontarf, Number 124, a four-bedroom semi-detached house, made £287,000 through Douglas Newman Good.

Also in Clontarf, a four-bedroom semi-detached house at 112 The Stiles Road was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £288,000.

In Dublin 9, 159 Ballymun Road, a four-bedroom semi-detached house was withdrawn at £180,000 by Gunne, which is quoting £230,000.

In Newcastle, Co Dublin, a four-bedroom split-level house on one acre, Athgoe, was withdrawn at £200,000 and is under negotiation through J.P. & M. Doyle.

Also in Ballsbridge, Sherry FitzGerald sold a three-bedroom apartment at 3 The Oaks, Herbert Park Lane, after auction for over £375,000, following its withdrawal at £350,000. A three-bedroom duplex apartment at 26 Northumberland Place, Grand Canal Street, was withdrawn at £230,000 and is under negotiation through Keane Mahony Smith.

Off Merrion Road, 3 Merlyn Park, a four-bedroom house in need of modernisation, is believed to have made over £400,000 after auction through Lisney having been withdrawn at £350,000. In Sandymount, a refurbished two-bedroom house at 1 Havelock Square, off Bath Avenue, made £265,000 at a auction through Daphne L. Kaye & Associates.

South Dublin

In Cabinteely, a detached five-bedroom house at 34 Lambourne Wood, Brennanstown Road, Dublin 18, was withdrawn by joint agents Ross McParland and Morrisseys, which are quoting £455,000.

On Goatstown Road, Trimbleston, a double-fronted four-bedroom house on 1.5 acres with development potential, was withdrawn at £800,000 and sold later for close to £2 million through Lisney.

In Blackrock, Hamilton Osborne King fetched £440,000 at auction for 5 Lower Prince Edward Terrace, Carysfort Avenue, a two-storey over garden level mid-terraced four-bedroom house.

In Dun Laoghaire, Laughton, a four-bedroom lodge on Rochestown Avenue, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £395,000.

Nearby, 22 Charleville Road, a Victorian double-fronted house in two flats, was withdrawn at £295,000 and sold after auction for over £300,000 by Vincent Finnegan.

In Ranelagh, a three-bedroom end of terrace house at 31 Mountainview Road was withdrawn at £310,000 and sold later for a higher price through Lisney.

A three-bedroom semi-detached house at 5 Norwood Park, off Sandford Road, Ranelagh, has been sold prior to auction by Ross McParland for a price believed to be in excess of £250,000.

In Milltown, 1 Crannagh, a three-bedroom house off Palmerstown Grove, was withdrawn by Daphne L. Kaye & Associates, which is quoting about £275,000.

In Terenure, Lisney sold 6 Mayfield Road, a five-bedroom terraced house, prior to auction for a price believed to be in excess of £260,000. A three-bedroom terraced house at 5 Brighton Gardens, Terenure, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £178,000.

Elsewhere in Terenure, 40 Ashdale Road, a four-bedroom redbrick house, was withdrawn at £205,000 and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald.

A two-bedroom terraced house at 46 Heytesbury Street, Dublin 8, was sold at auction for £260,000 by Harper O'Grady.

Elsewhere in Dublin 8, Hamilton Osborne King fetched £186,000 at auction for 8 Wolseley Street, off the South Circular Road, a two-bedroom mid-terrace house. A two-storey, two-bedroom terraced house at 6 St Kevin's Terrace, New Bride Street, Dublin 8, was sold after auction for £125,000 by Hugh O'Neill & Co.

At 19 Greenville Terrace, Dublin 8, a two-bedroom terraced house was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good, which is quoting £150,000.

In Co Sligo, a 1.6-acre site with planning for 10 detached houses at Ballisodare, outside Sligo town, was withdrawn at £240,000 by McDonald Brothers. In Belfast, Lisney secured over the guide price of £650,000 sterling for 34/36 Alfred Street, a 0.18-acre city centre development site.
