DUBLIN Corporation is to provide two additional floors and a new facade on its multi-storey car-park at Drury Street, Dublin 2, to accommodate another 145 spaces. The car-park is directly opposite a new four-star hotel, Brooks Hotel, which is being developed by Galway hotelier Charles Sinnott.
Elsewhere in the city centre, the planners have granted permission for a 110-bedroom hotel on the site of the Ormond Multimedia Centre at Ormond Quay. The hotel is to be developed by a group led by businessman Hugh O'Regan, and will include a restaurant, bars and a health club.
