Car dealer group pays £4.5m in Dun Laoghaire

Leading motor distributor Motor Services Ltd (MSL) has emerged as the purchasers of the former Kodak warehouse complex on a site of 2.54 acres at Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. Advised by Finnegan Menton, the company acquired the property at tender for £4.5 million. The 33,770 sq ft warehouse and office building was one of the most sought-after commercial properties this autumn - eight developers and corporations bid for it - because of its obvious potential. MSL has dealerships for Volkswagen, Audi, Mazda and Mercedes Benz. The joint selling agents, Jones Lang Wootton and Hamilton Osborne King, originally quoted between £2 million and £2.5 million.
